If we're tweaking the chai recipe... it's probably because I said, "Just one more pinch."

The steady one when everyone else is running around trying to find the serving spoons.

Logistics, timelines, inventory, supplies... I actually enjoy making the impossible look effortless.

Before Chai Ho Jai, there were cookies making people smile all over the Bay.

Between four kids, four schedules and approximately 472 daily questions, I'm everyone's personal GPS, calendar and snack provider.

I've learned that home isn't about the zip code-it's about the people around the table... preferably with a hot cup of chai in hand.
